What is the LiquiCount device used for?
The LiquiCount LC1 is a standalone electronic pulse counter designed to convert signals from existing sensors into meaningful fluid-volume readings. It is intended primarily for monitoring anti-ice and de-ice fluids used by air-side ground support vehicles.
Which types of liquids can LiquiCount measure?
The LC1 does not come into contact with or measure the liquid directly. It counts pulses generated by a compatible flow sensor or pump and can therefore be calibrated for anti-ice, de-ice and other fluids used by air-side ground support vehicles, provided a suitable sensor is installed.
How does LiquiCount count and calculate liquid volume?
LiquiCount counts electrical pulses generated by a connected sensor. Each pulse represents a fixed quantity of liquid. Using a configurable calibration value (K-factor), LiquiCount converts the pulse count into a calculated volume displayed on the screen.
What input signals and sensor voltages are supported (5 V, 12–24 V)?
LiquiCount supports pulse inputs from sensors operating at 5 V and 12–24 V. The correct sensor voltage must be selected during installation or configuration to ensure reliable operation and to prevent damage.
Is LiquiCount compatible with different pump and flow sensor types?
Yes. The LC1 is compatible with a range of pulse-output devices used in anti-ice and de-ice fluid systems, including proximity sensors, Hall-effect sensors and pulse-generating pumps. Compatibility depends on the sensor providing a clean digital pulse within the supported voltage range.

What is a K-factor, and how do I configure it on the device?
A K-factor defines how many pulses correspond to a specific volume of liquid, such as pulses per litre. LiquiCount allows the K-factor to be configured through its menu system so the displayed volume matches the measured flow.
Does LiquiCount retain data during power loss or interruptions?
Yes. LiquiCount uses non-volatile memory to retain configuration settings and critical data. In the event of a power loss, stored values are preserved and restored when power is reapplied.
How do I view or reset volume counts?
Volume counts can be viewed directly on the LCD display. Reset functions are available through the user interface, with confirmation prompts to help prevent accidental resets.
Does LiquiCount support multiple measurement units (litres, gallons, items)?
Yes. LiquiCount supports litres, gallons and item counts. Units can be selected through the menu system, and the display updates to reflect the chosen unit.
Is LiquiCount suitable for regulated or compliance-critical environments?
